The Poway Wrestling Foundation supports wrestling in Poway, California by sponsoring the Poway Slammers kids wrestling club and serving as the booster club for the Poway High School wrestling team.

Poway Slammers Kids Wrestling
The Poway Slammers Kids Wrestling Club provides youth ages 5 to 14 (8th grade) an opportunity to learn and develop their wrestling skills. The season runs from November until March. If you have any questions regarding Slammers, please contact Rich Shea at 858-748-5430.
Last season (2008/2009), the Slammers won the California State Kids Folkstyle Team Championship. The current season is nearing its end. It will finish March 20th and 21st with the California State Kids Folkstyle Tournament. The Slammers will try to defend their state title.
